Innovation, change & conflict with Falko (#7)
Sunday Mar 28, 2021
Sunday Mar 28, 2021
We all know that the weakness of some big companies is their lack of speed in adapting to changes and that for startups being agile is a major strength.
But for both big companies and startups change management as part of the process of innovation is still something of a challenge.
In this episode of the podcast, Falko Döring from Puzzle Innovation discusses how to actually manage change in a large or small organization.
He also provides some excellent insights into how you can improve your team workshops to implement the required changes.
ABOUT FALKO
Falko loves solving puzzles and problems - whether they're puzzle games or big corporate challenges that need to be overcome.
He co-founded Puzzle Innovation in 2019 with two friends to help individuals and organizations to build solutions to their challenges through co-creation, leadership, dialogue, and team-building activities.
He is an engineer with a Master's in Energy Technologies from EIT InnoEnergy and a patent in wave energy production. He has also worked at EIT InnoEnergy as a program manager and was president of the EIT Alumni Community in Europe.

A New African European Startup Program with Simin k. Fard (#5)
Saturday Mar 27, 2021
Saturday Mar 27, 2021
In this episode of the podcast, Simin k. Fard from UnternehmerTUM International goes in-depth about the African European Digital Venture Program (AEDV).
After over 150 applications the AEDV program has selected 6 startups from Ghana and Tunisia to join this 3-month virtual pre-accelerator program. The aim is to give these 6 startups access to know-how about the European market and to strengthen partnerships between African startups and established European companies and startups.
They kicked off the program this week at none other than Munich's Bits and Pretzels - a six-day virtual festival that connects 5000 founders, investors, and startup enthusiasts.
The 6 lucky teams from Ghana and Tunisia will have their own startup booths at #bits20 and are eager to meet potential (corporate) partners and clients!

How To Build A Community with Dr. Jagadeesh Gandla (#4)
Saturday Mar 27, 2021
Saturday Mar 27, 2021
Jagadeesh is a community builder that has positively impacted the lives of hundreds if not thousands of people through the various initiatives he has started such as the Indian Empowerment Network and DareToStart.
His whole life is based around community building and impacting people’s lives at scale. This is something that I‘m extremely interested in and I think our conversation will help share some insights from Jagadeesh’s experience with creating communities and really bringing value to people's lives whether that’s creating a startup or getting that job you’ve always dreamed of.
MORE BACKGROUND
The Indian Empowerment Network is a Facebook group that started only a few months ago with almost 1000 members at the time of posting.
This group started with the simple purpose of helping people given the extremely difficult situations we all face during COVID-19. It’s a self-organized platform supporting these 1000 members with everything from CV clinics, design thinking workshops, and language courses, to name just a few programs, all powered by the members.
This has morphed into new exciting formats such as the IEN Talks and other extremely valuable workshops with experts such as Dr. Ushy Mohan Das.
More recently he founded DareToStart with Dr. Manoj Nimbalkar. Together with their team, they are supporting entrepreneurs to take their first actions toward founding their own startup and help to bridge the gap for organizations, startups, and businesses between India and Europe.
